I hope that December isn’t being too crazy for you, and that in between the chaos of the holidays, (for those of you who are endeavoring to build your teams), that you are taking this month to prepare for the biggest quarter of the year for Network Marketing which begins in January. January through April are the biggest recruiting months of the year for Network Marketing, and if your marketing campaign is not ready to go by January 1st, then you are well behind the curve and other people will be “stealing” your business. People all over the world will be making New Years resolutions to do better financially in the year 2008, and for thousands and possibly millions of them, that resolution will lead them to Network Marketing…….the fastest growing business model in the world. In this email, I am going to do everything in my power to prepare you for a successful 2008, but you will have to meet me halfway.
I can only give to you as much as you give to your business. My effort, will match your action and desire to succeed. That is my promise to you. (If you are not interested in building your network marketing business, You may stop reading this email now!)
This is the Final Team Email of the year, and in the best interest of your success in 2008, this email will contain quite a bit of “tough love”. This is the “tell it like it is” email of the year. Those of you who follow the information contained in this email step by step will experience amazing success in the coming year. Those who do not take into action, the words below, will experience the same results next year, as they did this year.
There is a ton of info for me to provide today so I am going to try and make this email as organized as possible by using “links” that will open up additional pages of content as you read through. The tone of this email is going to be a lot more formal than what you are used to from me, because quite frankly. Your marketing campaign will succeed or fail in the next year based on your ability to follow the steps here.
#1 The Academy –
If you really want to become a leader and do well, you have to act like one. You have to learn like one, and you have to be consistent and dedicated to your growth.

#2 Your Marketing Plan –
Without a plan of action that is either written down, or saved on your computer, you will literally find yourself sitting in front of your computer….or sitting on the couch thinking to yourself. “Gee…I want to build myself a bigger income and a larger team….but I just don’t know what to do.” (In my office, I have notes, I have 2 big white boards I scribble on, and two laptop computers with notes, ideas, plans, and agendas. And I take action on them daily. You want to invest your time at the ratio of 80% Action “regardless if your material is perfect or not”, 10% learning, and 10% teaching. If you do not have a team yet, then 80% action, and 20% learning.)
If you take 30 minutes of your time write now to read and act upon the following, you will have an “agenda” that you can take action on every single day.
The ACTION I took this last year:

Methods that I have tested and recruited successfully with:
1. Blogging (I recruited over 80 people this year into Network Marketing programs through blogging alone. The rules are simple: Be passionate and knowledgeable about your subjects)
2. Posting on Forums (1-2 people a month sponsored consistently since february making helpful, and sometimes controverial posts. The one rule is never lose your temper.)
3. Video Casts on splash pages with lead capture forms (ie. the front page of thebrokerjones.com. I believe that through the use of videos we are able to establish a faster relationship with our viewers.)
4. Sampling Product to people (We’ve sponsored 1 person a month this way, and have been building a good sized offline local team through simply sharing our product with others. We now have displays for Via Viente going up in our hairstylists salon, nail salon, and we are invited yearly now to present Via Viente to a group of 100 or so people comprised of doctors and their patients in a health and wellness overview.)
Methods that I am considering or testing but cannot recommend or teach just yet:
1. Newspaper ads
2. Radio ads
3. Television ads
4. Seminars/Specialty Shows
5. Flyers
6. Google Adwords
7. Search Engine Optimization (I’m learning this one!)
8. HTML programming. (I am not fluent in reading and writing HTML –granted I am pretty slow with it.
9. CSS programming. (I will teach this to myself starting in January.)
10. Flash/Photoshop/Frontpage — It is my goal to be able to create unique, inspiring and effective websites for each leader on our team.
I believe that mastering 2 methods is a great foundation for getting your business started, and I am ready, willing and able to teach to you, anything that you do not already know. But if you want to create a big income. You must supply the effort. Here is my direct example daily agenda:
1. Coffee
2. Pajamas (Yes, coffee really does take precedence over clothes! =)
3. I sit down at my computer, and visit my favorite forums.
4. I think about a blog idea from the previous day, and post one if I amĀ inspired to do so. (generally every other day)
5. I read and respond to multiple emails.
6. I write a weekly email to my team based on what I have learned and/or experienced.
7. I communicate with leaders in the industry with greater levels of success than me.
8. I take time to educate myself on something new in the industry
9. I use traffic exchanges to generate 200-400 hits for my website.
10. I talk to people whome I naturally run into in real life and either sample a bottle of Via Viente to them, or I send them to my website. (Higher quality Interested people get bottles of Via sampled to them the next day….lesser quality people must visit my website where they will be filtered through various methods.)
11. I work on Search Engine Optimization. Google this, there are plenty of free ebooks on this, or you can contact me and we’ll work together on it.
12. Videos, Audios, & Splash pages — Every 4 months, my marketing campaign will shift. Why? Because sometimes it is the 7th time that someone sees you, before they decide to join you. Let them see you from all angles, and they will feel like they know you.
I do all of these things daily. I generate 400-600hits per day on my website at this time, and am working on further SEO to get to PR4+ in the next month or two. PR is the Google ranking system.
My Statistics of 2007 and Goals for 2008.
In the year 2007 my wife and I acquired approximately 1 new self generated lead each day through either our website or personal marketing. Of these, we signed up 3-5 per month and worked with them to assess whether or not they were team leaders or serious business builders. We quickly learned how to assess whether or not our prospect was a customer or a business builder and devoted the appropriate information, attention, and development with them. The important thing to remain in touch with, is that we do not push anyone into motivation. We simply provide the backbone of those who want to do serious business and we step up our “spotlighted” attention on them specifically.
In the year 2008, I would like to see our self generated leads double, and I would love the ability to not only recruit 3-5 per month, but also be able to relegate an additional 3-5 sign ups to other leaders on our team, thus accelerating growth, and empowering those who show strong merits and effort.
In the year 2008, I would like to be fully proficient with the creation from scratch…..dynamic, and visually animated websites and splash pages that all hard working team members will have access to, and every 4 months we will be creating new marketing material.
It is our goal to break several Silver Sales Leaders on our team in Via Viente.
